Discover. Explore. Connect.
“Go See It” outings are one of the most exciting parts of the Scout experience! These field trips take Scouts beyond the meeting room and into the real world — where they can explore local businesses, community services, natural spaces, and historical sites firsthand.
Whether it’s touring a fire station, visiting a bakery, exploring a farm, or hiking a local trail, “Go See It” adventures bring learning to life and help Scouts connect with the world around them.

Examples:Tiger: Safe and Smart, My Tiger Jungle
Wolf: Hometown Heroes, Paws on the Path

Every outing is a chance for new experiences, team bonding, and excitement — whether it’s petting animals, climbing into a big truck, or watching a behind-the-scenes demonstration.

Fire Stations
A visit to a local fire station is one of the most exciting and educational outings for Scouts! Scouts get a behind-the-scenes look at the life of real-life heroes — our community firefighters. They’ll explore fire trucks and gear, learn about emergency tools, and discover how firefighters respond to calls and keep our neighborhoods safe. This hands-on experience not only sparks curiosity but also reinforces important values and skills aligned with the Scout program.

Historical & Living Museums
Exploring a historic battleship or aircraft carrier isn’t just a tour — it’s a step into the past where Scouts can walk the decks where sailors once served, see how crews lived and worked, and experience real American history up close. These living museums — such as naval ships, military bases, aviation museums, and wartime memorials — give Scouts a powerful, hands-on connection to our nation’s heritage and the people who defended it.

Other Fun Things To Do
Scouting is more than badges and uniforms — it’s about having fun while growing stronger in character, confidence, and friendships! Beyond official adventures and service projects, packs and dens often plan all kinds of exciting and creative activities that bring learning to life and keep Scouts engaged all year long. From games and crafts to behind-the-scenes tours, there’s always something new to discover!
